Eddie uses a DEVA and an M.S microphone configuration to get skateboard bys.
Lana operates the dual mono boom as Lynette uses the Nagra to record the skateboard bys as hot and radical as possible.
Somewhere near the Santa Monica airport Ryan, Eddie, Lana and Lynette gather again to record Ozzie and Tobe. This time PZM's were taped to the walls inside the pool. Windsocks were used, preventing the wind eminating off the boards from hitting the mic. Eddie mans the DEVA. Lana booms for the Nagra recordings. This was one of the best days in Ryan's life.
MAR VISTA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Most recognized by its asphalt embankment, Mar Vista was one of the breeding grounds for the Dogtown crew. Ryan records Stacey doing " Tic-Tacs"( a skateboard maneuver that involves "ticking" and "tacking" from side to side). Lynette and Maxine look on .We had to climb the chained fence to get into the playground that day. Lana observes from the other side. Maxine is willing to kamikaze through the playground. Adrienne remains as stiff as the board under her feet.
